“Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller and Lifetime are not seeing eye to eye on how to run the series. The ALDC owner revealed that she has long stopped watching the show because of the poor editing.

Abby Lee Miller expressed her disappointments towards the network for failing to provide an accurate voice to the show. She claimed that "Dance Moms" have neglected to showcase the kids' talents.

"I stopped watching the show," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"Not because of the drama; I could care less about that. Just the dance edits. I think it's absolutely asinine to try to edit a show with dancing without a dancing consultant. That's one issue."

Miller, however, shared that despite all the drama and controversies, doing the show is definitely worth it. She said that "Dance Moms" have helped her reached a broader audience, as well as encourage children to follow their passion for dancing.

"Think of how many children dance because of our show," she said.

"How many kids have gone to their local dance studio and signed up for lessons because they want to be like the kids on TV. That, to me, is worth all the drama in the world," she added.

Abby Lee Miller said that she never thought that "Dance Moms" would ever attract so much following. She remarked that what made the show such a hit was because it was so relatable.

"I think the kids dancing appeals to everyone. Whether you're old or young or male or female, [you wonder] how do those kids learn that that fast?" she said.

"I've had celebrities say to me that they sit on the edge of their sofa biting their nails when it's time for the awards and jump around their living room because we won."

"Like the Superbowl-your favorite team just won, a thousand bucks betting on it. Ooh, that's interesting! I wonder if there's bookies out there taking bets on if we win or not."
