Looks like a good news for players who have struggled with the Skola fight in Destiny "Prison of Elders" and those who haven't beaten it yet but want to give it one more try before the update next week, Bungie will release Hot Fix 1.2.0.3 sometime next week during E3, making the fight a little less frustrating.

In its weekly update Wednesday, June 10 Bungie noted that they're packing their bags and leaving. Well, until E3 that is. The developers and publishers are hard at work prepping for the event.

That being said, gamers shouldn't find waiting that hard as there's plenty of alluring news about new games, expansions along with sequels to tide gamers by. Though one developer is getting ready to travel to E3 2015 themselves, this does not imply that they are going to ignore their flagship title.

Destiny players who have already taken on "Prison of Elders" ultra-boss Skolas are already aware of its characteristics. While the encounter can be a cakewalk with certain equipment, it can be deadly and annoyingly difficult the next, Inquisitr noted.

Destiny fans will be happy to know that a hot fix is coming their way soon. The hot fix will make one of Destiny's toughest fights a little less punishing.

Nevertheless, some players have allegedly blasted away the final level 35 "Prison of Elders boss" in just 40 seconds, however most gamers have had a tougher time with it, according to Game Rant.

Bungie in its weekly update acknowledges the extreme difficulty of the Destiny fight, and has offered some notes on upcoming adjustments to the Skolas boss encounter in order to make it less burdensome.

In the weekly update, Creative Director Christopher Barrett opened up about the plans on how Bungie intends to deal with Skolas' wild variability.

Barrett admitted that the difficulty of the fight "swings too wildly from week to week" and that the average playtimes are taking longer than expected. These wild swings in difficulty are a result of the elemental burn modifier that give increased damage to Guardian as well as enemy weapons.

Skolas can one-shot players with his cannon on weeks with a Solar burn while Arc burn weeks make the minions that generate during the encounter certainly killer.

Moreover, Solar burn weeks gets behind players to use a single tactic deal with Skolas. To find listings, players can look for group sites like DestinyLFG asking for players with Gjallarhorns. The boss can be killed in as little as 40 seconds if a player can manage to put him on the receiving end of the rocket launcher during a Solar burn.

This lets players to actually overlook the intended mechanics of the fight.

This update is slated to be delivered during E3, next week, in Destiny Hot Fix 1.2.0.3, and it's an indication that Bungie is continuously listening to their players and respond accordingly, as they acknowledged the need for a Destiny matchmaking feature in the pass, and enhanced the rate of Treasure Key drops in "Prison of Elders."
