John Cena vs. Kevin Owens

Building up on their personal dislike for each other, it looks like the rivalry between Kevin Owens and John Cena is far from over as "The Doctor of Thuganomics" was finally able to beat Kevin Owens after losing to the NXT champion at Elimination Chamber.

The much awaited WWE Money in the Bank PPV saw "The Cenation Leader," John Cena, seek revenge on Kevin Owens, and several WWE superstars square off against each other for the prestigious Money in the Bank briefcase.

John Cena vs. Kevin Owens was the most anticipated rematch in WWE history, according to Cena. The two men put on a display of avant-garde maneuvers and hair-raising kick outs.

Owens emerged as the winner just two weeks ago at Elimination Chamber, after he pop up powerbombed Cena. However, Cena was able to get one back as he defeated the NXT champion Sunday night, according to Bleacher Report.

Cena was the first one to strike as both the men locked up immediately after the bell. As expected there was some trash talking involved. Owens applied a headlock dropping Cena as they talk more trash. The WWE Universe continues chanting for NXT. Cena drops with a right as they go at it again. Owens kept controlling and talking trash and applies a headlock to Cena.

Cena then clotheslined Owens but the NXT champ came back with a dropkick for a 2 count, Wrestling Inc. noted.

Cena managed to fight out of a hold and nailed a dropkick, followed with a shoulder tackle and another. Owens, who mimicked Cena with a AA (Attitude Adjustment) and the popular "You Can't See Me" Five Knuckle Shuffle at the Elimination Chamber, hit two shoulders of his own, just like Cena. Owens then slammed Cena and called for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, again mocking Cena.

Owens then took it a little too far as he went for the AA but this time Cena put him the STF. Cena eventually slammed Owens on his face but in return Owens dropped Cena on his knees with a Codebreak just out of nowhere for a close 2 count. Cena blocked the pop-up powerbomb this time and slammed Ownes before calling for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and nailing it.

After trading shots, Cena went for the AA but managed only a 2-count and he even argued in the referee's face as fans chanted "this is awesome." Following another pop-up powerbomb, a tornado DDT for two counts, both men looked frustrated as neither of the superstars was willing to give up.

Nevertheless, Cena finally was able to nail the AA for the win.

After the match, Cena turned around and asked fans to give it up for the NXT champion, telling Owens that he belonged right here. However, after shaking hands, Owens kicked Cena out of the ring and nailed the apron powerbomb. Owens then entered the ring and raised the NXT and US Titles to a pop and boos.

The result was contrary to earlier speculations doing rounds suggesting that Owens will win this time again as WWE is pushing him as the company's next top heel.
