Rumors about Kristen Stewart dating her assistant Alicia Cargile have been circulating for months now. And for the first time, someone from the actress' camp confirmed that she is indeed in a relationship with Alicia, according to Mirror.

Kristen Stewart's mother, Jules, reportedly admitted that her 25-year-old daughter is dating her personal assistant. Before dating Alicia, Kristen was in a relationship with her "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson. The former couple who played Edward and Bella in the movie franchise based on Stephanie Meyer's novels parted ways in 2012. The 29-year-old actor is now involved with music artist FKA Twigs.

Does Jules prefer Kristen Stewart to get back together with Robert Pattinson instead of dating Alicia Cargile? Apparently not.

"What's not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend?" Jules reportedly told Sunday Mirror. "She's happy. She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices. I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl."

Jules reportedly didn't see anything wrong with Kristen Stewart dating Alicia Cargile. According to her, her daughter is free to be in a relationship that makes her happy as long as she's not hurting other people or breaking the law. "I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want." Jules reportedly added.

"I accept my daughter loves women and men. It's OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers. I have gay friends, family members, I'm accepting of people, we are all free to choose who we want to love."

Alicia Cargile is reportedly the first publicized romance of Kristen Stewart after her breakup with Robert Pattinson. Kristen and Robert's relationship ended after she was reportedly seen kissing "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
