"You're the Best Lee Soon Shin" IU receives a casting offer from Jo Jung Suk and begins to cry hysterically.
March 23, the 5th episode of the KBS drama "You're the Best Lee Soon Shin" featured Shin Joon Ho (Jo Jung Suk) preparing to sign a contact with Lee Soon Shin (IU) to make her into a star.
In this episode, Lee Soon Shin goes into work after her father's funeral and begins working while trying to act normal. Shin Joon Ho appears at the café and looks for Lee Soon Shin. Shin Joon Ho says, "Do you know who I am? I'm Shin Joon Ho" and "Have you ever thought about acting? I'll make you a star."
Lee Soon Shin had previously been scammed out of $10,000 by a man who pretended to be Shin Joon Ho. On top of that, her sister and grandmother were blaming her for the death of her father saying that he was too stressed out by all the mistakes Lee Soon Shin was making. Lee Soon Shin herself began to blame herself for her father's death and had fallen into a state of darkness.
When Lee Soon Shin receives Shin Joon Ho's business card, her mind goes blank and says, "You say you're Shin Joon Ho?" Right then, a tear begins to fall down her cheek.
Shin Joon Ho hesitates and says, "What's wrong? Are you touched already?" Lee Soon Shin remains quiet and begins to cry hysterically from all the pain that has been building up.
