Crazy Love: In Which Love May Get Pretty Crazy
Shakespeare once said the course of true love never did run smoothly. So, if a drama plans to air 100 episodes-and it's called "Crazy Love,"-viewers can probably expect a love story that will not go smoothly. And as drama lovers know, even true love is not immune to complications. One complication can be meeting the right person under the wrong circumstances.
In fact, tvN's new daily drama, "Crazy Love," has been described as the story of a woman who meets the love of her life at the wrong time.
The drama stars Park Sun Young, who last year appeared in "Can't Live Without You" and "Immortal Classic." She will play the role of Yoon Mi So, a girl who was raised in an orphanage, but marries the son of a rich family.
Heo Tae Hee plays the chaebol, Lee Min Jae. He falls in love with Yoon Mi So despite the difference in their backgrounds, but in the end abandons her.
It's the first lead in a drama for Heo Tae Hee, although he previously appeared in "White Lie" and "My Fair Lady," as well as "Pasta," "My Princess," and "I Need Romance."
Kim Yeon Joo will appear as Han Na Young, Yoon Mi So's rival. Han Na Young uses all her feminine wiles to steal Yoon Mi Soo's husband, which may be one reason he abandons her. Before playing the femme fatale in this drama, Kim Yeon Joo was most recently seen in "Man of Honor" and "The Scarlet Letter."
Also appearing in the drama are Go Se Won as Seo Kyung Soo and Kim Hae In as Oh Hae Ryung.
Go Se Won previously appeared in "Rude Miss Young Ae 11," as well as every "Rude Miss Young Ae" so far, and had a role in "I'll Give You The Moon and the Stars."
Kim Hae In appeared in "Queen Inhyun's Man" and "Welcome Rain To My Life."
Other members of the cast include Lee Hee Do, Kim Young Ran, Maeng Sang Hoon and Lee Chae Mi.
Lee Chang Han, who directed "I Need Romance" in 2011 and "I Love You" in 2008 will direct the drama.
The series begins April 8 and will be aired daily for 100 days. How crazy will this love get? You'll have to watch and find out.
