"That Winter, The Wind Blows" Kim Tae Woo is met with a tragic ending after trying to protect Jo In Sung.

March 28, the 15th episode of the SBS drama "That Winter, The Wind Blows" featured Jo Moo Cheol (Kim Tae Woo) getting stabbed by Mr. Kim's man.

For 100 days, Jo Moo Cheol had been threatening Oh Soo (Jo In Sung) and making jokes with his life. Jo Moo Cheol was the one who thought of the plan for Oh Soo to lie to Oh Young (Song Hye kyo) to steal $7.8 million to repay Mr. Kim.

Regardless of the threats he made on Oh Soo, Jo Moo Cheol is not a brutal character. This episode shows Jo Moo Cheol going to Moon Hee Sun's (Jung Eun Ji) flower shop. He tells Moon Hee Sun, "I tried to live but this is the end for me regardless. Even if everybody in the world looks down on me.. I want to forgive myself for living the way I have lived. It would be too much if I can't even forgive myself."

One of his men working for him tells Jo Moo Cheol, "Go to the hospital. Oh Soo doesn't know how you feel. They don't know that if it weren't for you protecting them, they would have already been killed by Mr. Kim." Jo Moo Cheol had been protecting Oh Soo this whole time!

Jo Moo Cheol realizes that his body is not how it used to be and finds Oh Soo to speak to him. However, Oh Soo is on his way to see Oh Young after he figures out her suicide attempt. Oh Soo refuses to listen and tells Jo Moo Cheol, "Let's talk later" and tries to leave.

Jo Moo Cheol says, "It was nice to see your love. I wanted to know that there was love in this world and there is. I wanted to say goodbye to you" and hands him the keys to his car. Oh Soo replies, "Thank you. Let's meet soon" and rushes to Oh Young in Jo Moo Cheol's car.

While walking back after meeting Oh Soo, Jo Moo Cheol runs into one of Mr. Kim's men. He suddenly stabs Jo Moo Cheol in the abdomen. Jo Moo Cheol slowly falls to the ground and meets his final lonely fate.
