Have Dramas Influenced G-Dragon’s Love Life?

Watching kdramas can influence the way you see romantic relationships and we know that BIGBANG's G-Dragon is a drama fan because his band mate Daesung once made fun of him for it.

"He used to cry a lot watching dramas or movies," said Daesung, with a laugh. "He is a true romantic."

When G-Dragon appeared on the SBS show Incarnation last week, he confessed to some past relationship experiences that were surprisingly painful. He confessed that he had a crush on someone for two years. He approached the girl two or three times but was rejected. In true kdrama style, he decided to give it one more try.

 "I decided for the last time that I'm going to confess and if it didn't work out, I'll stop, so I went to her house with a bouquet of flowers and called her to come out."

G-Dragon said he waited in the rain for five hours, but she never came out. For kdrama fans, this scene is really easy to visualize as so many great romantic scenes take place in the rain. But the scene did not have a happy ending.

"It turns out that it wasn't her house," said G-Dragon. "She purposely told me the wrong house."

Since this scenario seems so perfect for a drama, it does make a fan wonder. Should G-Dragon star in a drama? He appeared in two drama parodies when BIGBANG made light of "Boys Over Flowers" and "Secret Garden." In the "Boys Over Flowers" parody, he played the quiet Ji Hoo, while in the "Secret Garden" parody he played Gil Ra Im, exchanging the famous "foam kiss' with TOP. He was so good at the "Secret Garden" role that MTVK gave his performance second place in their Top 10 Cross Dressing Idols ranking. They cited his "enviable V-line" as enabling him to take on female roles.

Having admitted that watching dramas is one of the ways he likes to relax, would he ever act in one?In a recent interview with High Cut magazine, he said, he had no plans even though YG's president encouraged him to.

"I am bad at acting and there are other people who are good at it," said G-Dragon. "Now I have enough things to keep me busy so I don't know whether I will try it."

But whether or not he appears in one, the romantic dramas he watches may continue to have some influence on his love style.
