Starting this week, fans of historical dramas will have a new series to watch. "Heaven's Order," starring Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo airs on KBS 2 and will be shown on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It's about a man who is trying to do the right thing when he finds himself in the wrong place. The story takes place in the time of King Injong. Without knowing it, Choi Won, the royal physician gets involved in a plot to poison the king.

Choi has little time for court intrigue since he is working hard to find a cure for his sick daughter. When he becomes implicated in the plot, he has to run. It's the only way to clear his name. It's also the only way to save the life of his daughter, Choi Ran, played by Kim Yoo Bin.

Choi Won has raised his daughter alone since her mother died. Being a father is not something Lee has any experience at.

At a recent press conference for the drama, Lee said that it was his first period piece and his first father role..

"I know that a lot of people are half worried about whether I'll be able to pull it off."

But he added that there are plenty of actors who are single in real life and play fathers with confidence. "I'm actually not that worried because I believe acting is all the same."

To get closer to his drama daughter, Kim Yoo Bin, he told jokes.

"She's nine," he said, "But she's very mature and we get along well.
Lee Dong Wook is best known for his roles in "Scent of a Woman" and "Wild Romance."

His nurse, Hong Da In, played by Song Ji Hyo is in love with him. While on the run, he is helped by a bandit's daughter, So Baek, played by Yoon Jin Yi.

Song Ji Hyo is best known for her role as the ballerina first love of the Crown Prince in Princess Hours. Yoon Jin Yi appeared in "A Gentleman's Dignity."

2AM's Im Seulong plays Crown Prince Lee Ho. The prince feels betrayed by Choi's departure, as he was the only person he could trust. Im Seulong appeared in "Personal Taste" as Kim Tae Hoon.

In Heaven's Order, Choi is chased by the uigeumbu, the Joseon-era government bureau that investigates such crimes. The man in charge of finding him is Lee Jung Hwan, played by Song Jong Ho. He is the best detective around and is very skilled with his sword.

Being a fugitive is difficult enough but Choi must prove his innocence and care for his sick daughter. It's a difficult road to walk but Choi will not be alone.
