The upcoming tvN drama, "Twenty Again," provides social commentary on several issues that have plagued women for the past century. Choi Ji Woo portrays Ha No Ra, a 38-year-old housewife, who was once an aspiring dancer. Her dreams of gracing the stage were crushed due to an unplanned pregnancy at age 19. It is a story that many female K-Drama viewers can relate to.

No Ra marries Kim Woo Chul (Choi Won Young), who continues to pursue his career and later becomes a college professor. While Woo Chul continued to excel at work, No Ra remained at home as a housewife, tending to two children. Since she had her children at a young age, she is presented with the opportunity to return to college.

Previews for "Twenty Again" provide a humorous take on the serious conflicts that are faced by women who attempt to reenter the collegiate realm and the workplace, after years of being a stay-at-home mom.

Her 20-year-old son, Kim Min Soo (Kim Min Jae) is embarrassed by the awkwardness of his mother and her attempts to appear cool. She shares classes with him and his girlfriend, Oh Hye Mi (A Pink's Son Na Eun).

While her husband is a teacher at the college, No Ra ambles through the unfamiliar realm of academia, seeking respect from her classmates and educators. Her journey is further complicated by the presence of her teenage crush, Cha Hyun Suk (Lee Sang Yoon), who is also a professor at the school. The incorporation of her past love should lend an interesting dynamic, especially if No Ra harbors resentment towards her husband.

'Twenty Again" has great potential as a drama on tvN, a cable network that has not hesitated to approach sensitive topics. While dramas like "Angry Mom" broached the impossibilities of a mother who is attempting to assimilate into high school, "Twenty Again" could prove that it is never too late for homemakers to pursue their dreams of obtaining a college diploma.

"Twenty Again" premieres on August 28. The series will air on Fridays and Saturdays in the 8:30 p.m. KST time slot currently occupied by "Oh My Ghost."
