Britain's tennis player Andy Murray had his hopes drowning for the US open when he was two sets down while playing against the French player Adrian Mannarino. However, he gave a spectacular show at the Flushing Meadows, cited the Irish Times.

Andy Murray recovered to win 5-7 4-6 6-1 6-3 6-1 against Adrian Mannarino in a stifling match wherein he had dropped first two sets drastically. "I just had to kind of tell myself that I would get there eventually," said Murray. "I managed to turn it round." During the first set, he even failed to convert six out of seven break points and added to his frustration. On the contrary, Mannarino kept his composure. Tennis player Andy Murray had remained unbeatable in the first week of Grand Slam since 2010. He admitted that he was given a tough challenge for our three hours and seventeen minutes, said the Irish Times.
