In "Assembly" the Bae Dahl Soo law ultimately went down the drain.

On the 20th and final episode of KBS 2TV Wednesday/Thursday drama "Assembly" (script Jung Hyun Min) Jin Sang Pil (played by Jung Jae Young) faced the largest challenge in his political career.  Though the majority had party had recognized and put forth the Bae Dahl Soo law, the president had exercised his veto powers.

On this day, Jin Sang Pil went to Park Choon Sup (played by Park Young Kyu) and was angry.  Jin San Pil said, "Do you know how the citizens are living?  The extraordinary citizens I know don't want things like this.  You know what they want?  They want to be happy.  They just ant to not be fired and raise their kids well and be able to go to work and bring home a pair of underwear.  That's what they want.  Do you know that?"  With that, he expressed his true feelings from the bottom of their heart.

Nonethless, Kang San Ho (played by Lee Won Jae) revelaed the fact that the rejection was because of the president. With that, Park Choon Sup smiled.  At this, Jin Sang Pil strongly opposed and said that it should be really reconsidered for this bill to be raised again to the Congressional floor.
