'Yong Pal' Records 20.2 Percent, As 'She Was Pretty' Approaches Double Digit Ratings

"Yong Pal" continued its reign at the top of weeknight ratings. According to the September 25 Nielsen Korea report, the SBS medical drama recorded 20.2 percent in nationwide viewership. This was an increase of 0.2 percent from the previous episode. 

In episode 16, Kim Tae Hyun (Joo Won) made the difficult decision of leaving Han Yeo Jin (Kim Tae Hee), as her revenge plot continued to spiral out of control.

Tae Hyun attempted to reason with Yeo Jin but was horrified that she was involved in the systematic murder of her step-brother, Han Do Joon (Jo Hyun Jae).

While Tae Hyun was horrified at the actions of his wife, she expressed her displeasure in his involvement with Lee Chae Young (Chae Jung An). 

As the series approaches its penultimate episode, Tae Hyun is increasingly committed to correcting wrongs that resulted from the plot against Yeo Jin and her subsequent attempts at avenging her captors. 

"Yong Pal" received a two-episode extension and will complete its run on October 1.

MBC's romantic comedy "She Was Pretty" continues to record higher ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, series recorded 9.9 percent in nationwide ratings. This was an increase of 1.4 percent in viewership from its previous episode. 

Kim Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) attempted to adopt a more fashionable look, but she her efforts continued to be mocked by Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon). 

Hye Jin was discouraged by his lack of recognition, as Sung Joon remains oblivious to her identity. 

Kim Shin Hyuk (Super Junior's Choi Siwon) drew closer to Hye Jin and expressed his compassion for her strained situation as an editorial intern at the fashion magazine. 

Meanwhile, the KBS2 period drama, "The Merchant: Gaekju 2015" recorded 5.9 percent.
