Lee Sun Bin Said To Have Violated Her Exclusive Contract + Agency Demands Compensation

It has been reported that Lee Sun Bin has been carrying out entertainment activities without her agency being involved.

On May 21, Wellmade Star ENT, the actress's management label, gave the press an official statement regarding the issue that she is doing some promotions despite having violated her exclusive contract with them. 

The agency added that Lee Sun Bin signed an exclusive contract with them way back in 2016. So, it means that lawfully, she is still currently an artist under Wellmade Star ENT. However, in September 2018, Lee Sun Bin petitioned to nullify her contract with them and filed a lawsuit against the president of the firm. The lawsuit has since been finalized as "not guilty," Wellmade Star ENT stated. 

The label went on and stated that they are requesting for Lee Sun Bin to correct her inexorable mistake of violating her exclusive contract as soon as possible. Wellmade Star ENT is also demanding that she must comply to them the documentation of her entertainment promotions and revenues since September of 2018 within 14 days. They are also asking the actress that she should pay the label the compensation for illegal entertainment activities.

Lastly, Wellmade Star ENT issued a warning to Lee Sun Bin to take strict legal action if ever she fails to submit the demands by the agency and if she doesn't reflect on her wrongdoings.

Meanwhile, Lee Sun Bin's current project is the OCN's drama series, "Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation," which will be premiering on May 23 at 10:50 PM KST. 

South Korean actress and singer Lee Sun Bin was born as Lee Jin-Kyung on January 7, 1994. The actress and singer became well-known for starring in projects, namely "Squad 38," "Missing 9," and "Criminal Minds." She joined the girl group JQT after Minsun retired from the group in September 2011.

Lee Sun Bin starred in MBC's disaster drama "Missing 9" in 2017. Then, in July of the same year, Lee Sun Bin starred in tvN's remake of the American blockbuster television show "Criminal Minds," in which she portrayed the Korean version of JJ's character.

In September, she started to film for her action zombie movie titled "Rampant," helmed by Director Kim Sung-hoon, alongside actors alongside Jang Dong-gun and Hyun Bin.

The first-ever leading role of Lee Sun Bin was in the 2018 JTBC's action drama "Sketch." After this, she joined the cast of the tvN drama special "The Dramatization Has Already Begun."

In 2019, she was cast in the action-comedy movie, "Okay! Madam," as well as the political drama "The Great Show." In the latter part of the year, she was cast in the action-spy film "Mission Possible." 

Since July 2018, Lee Sun Bin has been dating actor-comedian Lee Kwang Soo.
