Ahead of its much anticipated release, crime and thriller drama "Through the Darkness" released new stills of Kim Nam Gil, Jin Sun Kyu and Ryeo Un.
The drama follows the first criminal profiler in South Korea in the 1990s who look into the hearts of serial killers deeply, at a time when baseless and multiple murders were very rampant.
"Through the Darkness" released Kim Nam Gil's photo who, in the drama, plays the role of criminal profiler Song Ha Young of Criminal Behavior Analysis team of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Despite his lack of emotions, he's a criminal profiler who reads more deeply into humans.
In order to solve criminal cases with no specific motives, Song Ha Young looks at the huge picture and the temperament and psyche of criminals.

Meanwhile, Jin Sun Kyu transforms into the team leader of Criminal Behavior Analysis team, Kook Young Soo. After a long period of planning, he created the Criminal Behavior Analysis team to analyze criminal behaviors.
When he notices that Song Ha Young is a perfect candidate for a profiler, he creates a role that will make the former the backbone of a new type of investigation. He gets along with everyone and has a great judgement of people and character.
Finally, Ryeo Un joins "Through the Darkness" to show a new side he has never shown before as he takes on the role of Jung Woo Joo, the youngest member of the Criminal Behavior Analysis team.

'Through the Darkness' Release Date and Where to Watch
Based on a Kwon Il Yong and Ko Na Mu's non-fiction book of the same title, SBS TV's "Through the Darkness" is helmed by filmmaker Park Bo Ram with Lee Seul Gi and Kim Mi Joo.
Kim So Jin joins the cast in leading the drama as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Lee Dae Yeon, Kim Won Hae, Jung Soon Won and Gong Sung Ha are also part of the drama.
"Through the Darkness" will air for the first time on Friday, January 14 at 10:00 p.m. KST on SBS TV.
