Fan-favorite actress Lee Se Young is set to return to the small screen with a new historical drama!

In 2021, the actress dominated the small screen with her historical romance drama "The Red Sleeve," which was followed by her legal rom-com series "The Law Cafe" in the following year.

Fans might just see Lee Se Young on the small screen once again this 2023!

Following the successes of her back-to-back dramas "The Red Sleeve" and "The Law Cafe," Lee Se Young received an offer to star in the new historical drama produced by MBC.

On February 3, Lee Se Young was reportedly cast in the upcoming drama "Park's Contract Marriage Story."

In response to the reports, the actress' agency, Prain TPC, released a statement, saying that the actress received an offer to star in the new work, and is currently reviewing her appearance with a positive mind.

The new MBC drama is based on the webtoon of the same name, which depicts the chaotic marriage between two individuals who badly need a spouse for their own personal gain.

Lee Se Young was offered the main role as Park Yeon Woo, a bold and eccentric woman who stops at nothing to achieve her goals in life.

If the actress accepts the work, this project marks her first comeback with a historical genre since "The Red Sleeve" in 2021, which gained massive attention from viewers worldwide.

Lee Se Young's Previous Works To Watch

The actress had been booked and busy in the past year, portraying the role of a hot-tempered yet fabulous lawyer who owns a cafe in the rom-com series "The Law Cafe" with Lee Seung Gi.

In the later half of 2022, Lee Se Young made a special cameo appearance in Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Pyo's action drama film "Seoul Vibe," which aired on Netflix.
