Choi Sooyoung and Jeon Hye Jin graced Elle Korea to talk about their chemistry in the newly released K-drama "Not Others."

In the 16-part episode rom-com series, the story focuses on the main character's mother-daughter relationship.

Moreover, "Not Others" also showcases how a single mother, who gave birth at a young age managed to raise her daughter alone.

In a recent shoot with Elle Korea, the "Not Others" lead stars not only slayed the shoot but showcased their amazing tandem.

During the interview, Choi Sooyoung and Jeon Hye Jin shared their thoughts about working together and playing the mother and daughter characters.

According to the Girls' Generations member, she accepted the offer to play police officer Kim Jin Hee in "Not Others" because of her fellow lead star. 

"80% of the reason for choosing the work was meeting Jeon Hye-jin," she said, adding that what was great was that she didn't play her boss or a sister but her on-screen mother.

Considering herself lucky, Choi Sooyoung said that working with a senior like Jeon Hye Jin felt like a "dream."

In the rom-com series, she plays Kim Jin Hee, the only daughter of Kim Eun Mi, portrayed by Jeon Hye Jin.

Unlike her  mother, Jin Hee is more reserved and modest, while Eun Mi is adventurous and liberated.

Besides the duo's dynamics, the ENA series also illustrates their love-hate relationship as they live in one apartment.

On the other hand, when asked about her thoughts on Choi Sooyoung, Jeon Hye Jin expressed her affection for the singer-actress. 

Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Sooyoung Became More Confortable With Each Other After 'Not Others'

As mentioned by the publication, the 46-year-old beauty shared how "Not Others" helped her know more about the Girls' Generation member.

Before working together in the rom-com K-drama, Jeon Hye Jin said she only knew Choi Sooyoung as a K-pop star.

"I had a video call with an acquaintance a long time ago. I was grateful for the news that she was my fan, but at that time she was like 'Girls' Generation' to me," she said, adding that through the ENA series, she became close with Choi Sooyoung. 

"With this work, she became so close that she wondered if she could be comfortable like this, and after filming, the relationship became less like a stranger," she explained.

Released on July 17, "Not Others" airs every Monday and Tuesday via ENA, Hulu, and Viki for  global audiences.
