'Twinkling Watermelon' Teaser: Ryeo Un Travels Back in Time & Meets Choi Hyun Wook
On August 21, tvN gave viewers a glimpse of what to anticipate in the coming-of-age drama "Twinkling Watermelon" by dropping an intriguing teaser.
The series follows the story of a student born with a gift for music who lands in an unfamiliar place after time-traveling through a strange music shop. From there, he establishes the band named Watermelon Sugar with other mysterious youths.
"Adult Trainee" actor Ryeo Un is Eun Gyeol. He is the only person who can hear in his deaf family and lives a double life as a model student by day and a band guitarist by night.
"Twenty Five, Twenty One" star Choi Hyun Wook takes the role of Lee Chan, a guy full of charms and passionate in everything that he does.

"Business Proposal" actress Seol In Ah will transform into a Cello goddess named Se Kyung at Sewon Arts High School.
Shin Eun Soo, who starred in "Summer Strike," will immerse herself in the character of Chung Ah, known to have a cold and haughty personality. She has been deaf since birth.
Choi Hyun Wook & Ryeo Un to Showcase Interesting Friendship in 'Twinkling Watermelon'
In the clip provided, Eun Gyeol got lost after traveling to 1995 on the day when two moons rise. His father is Lee Chan, whom he meets as a high school student at that time, which adds to his confusion.
The two looked at each other strangely, who are father and son in the future. They even fight until they suffered from nosebleeds.
As he tries to navigate his journey, Eun Gyeol looks for a way to return to the modern day.
In contrast to their chaotic yet interesting relationship, mysterious girls Se Kyung and Chung Ah also capture the viewers' attention.
Se Kyung always exhibits a bright and playful aura, looking more confident. Chung Ah, on the other hand, maintains to be reserved and calm.
"Twinkling Watermelon" is a new drama packed with comedy, romance, and friendship that viewers will enjoy.
It is scheduled to hit the small screens beginning September 25 on tvN.
It will occupy the "My Lovely Liar" slots on Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. (KST).
