Yang Se Jong talked about his "Doona" co-star Bae Suzy and what she was like behind the camera.

Once again, the duo showcased their unique chemistry as they appeared as guests on the web entertainment show "Salon Drip 2." From their experience filming the Netflix series, Yang Se Jong and Suzy spilled more remarkable secrets that happened during the production.

Bae Suzy Gives 'Doona' Staff Luxurious Gifts

During the interview, Yang Se Jong was asked by one of the hosts about the news about Bae Suzy's gift to the staff. The actor revealed a surprising act by his co-star in celebration of the holidays!

"She gave very expensive scarves to all the staff in different colors just in time for Christmas," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.

Meanwhile, Bae Suzy said that she was "more proud that they liked it." However, she then shared that she didn't get any for her male co-star." The actress then explained the reason she skipped Yang Se Jong.

"I thoroughly prepared gifts for the staff because I didn't know how the shooting would turn out," she said.

In addition, Suzy revealed that she even prepared it herself as a way to express her gratitude to the staff.

"But I wanted to wrap it like Santa because it's Christmas," she furthered.

Bae Suzy Shares Her Similarities With the 'Doona' Character

There's no doubt why director Lee Jeong Hyo chose Suzy to play the role of Lee Doona, a former K-pop star who left the limelight in the middle of her skyrocketing career.

As for the actress, she began her career as a member of Miss A but later focused on her acting career.

According to her, when she first read "Doona," she was also surprised by the similarity between her and the character's backgrounds.

"We are similar in that we have both received attention as K-pop idols. But we are also different-Doona has much more emotional ups and downs than I do," she added, as mentioned by a news outlet.

In the K-drama, Suzy did several smoking scenes, but according to her, it was part of Doona's character.

"The smoking part is an element that shows how lonely and depressed Doona feels and was very important," she explained, adding that she also finds it "fun and exhilarating" that Lee Doona swears and being unruly.

Released on October 20, "Doona" received overwhelming responses from viewers and even made it to the Netflix global top 10 TV shows after its debut, ranking first in various countries like South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more.

On the other hand, one of the questions raised by viewers is if Netflix will release "Doona" season 2. That is because the ending left viewers with a cliffhanger between Doona and Lee Won Joon.

However, Netflix and drama officials are yet to confirm if they'll have a sequel for this, but viewers are hoping to see more of Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong's characters.
