Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee ‘Tortured’ on First Day of Filming ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ — What Happened?

"Gyeongseong Creature" stars Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee revealed shocking experiences they had on the first day of filming their series.

At the media press conference of Netflix's "Gyeongseong Creature" on December 19, main protagonists Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee attended the event alongside other cast members of the upcoming series. 

During the interview segment, the actors and actresses shared some behind-the-scenes stories of their journey working on the big project. 

Park Seo Joon Expresses Struggles He Had on First Day of Filming 'Gyeongseong Creature'

Park Seo Joon began by sharing a suffering experience on his first day on set, "I remember the first filming was the torture scene and it was a cold day. They continued to pour water and my entire body became wet."

He continued, "I filmed a scene in which I struggled from the beginning to the point where I thought, 'Is this a hazing style?'" Park Seo Joon made everyone in the room laugh by saying, "I had a strong impression of 'If the beginning of this drama is like this, what will the end be like?'"

Hence, as the filming progressed, the "Itaewon Class" star felt motivated and fell in love with the drama.

Han So Hee Shares the Director's Persistence to Create His Desired Scene

Meanwhile, his co-star Han So Hee also revealed the struggle she had on her first day of filming. 

According to the actress, she kept turning her head in the strong wind blowing, while Producer Jeong Dong Yoon persistently tried to create the scene he wanted. Han So Hee expressed that she filmed her 'high-speed filming of her hair coming down,' while turning her neck repeatedly. 

The "Nevertheless" star said that when she was taking photos, she got dizzy, and the next day, she couldn't turn her neck due to a scene that the director persistently filmed. 

She mimicked Park Seo Joon's words and said, "I thought, 'this is my first-day filming, what will the last one be like?'" making her co-stars and members of the press laugh.

Both stars felt like they were tortured during their first day on set due to the gravity of their scenes, but they are already looking forward to showing the viewers the fruit of their hard work. 

When & Where to Watch 'Gyeongseong Creature'

"Gyeongseong Creature" is set in the backdrop of spring 1945 and will feature the story of an entrepreneur and a sleuth who must navigate their way out and fight for survival as they face a monster wrapped in a human form.

Furthermore, "Gyeongseong Creature" Part 1 will hit the small screen starting December 22 and Part 2 will be released on January 5, 2024. The fantasy-romance drama can be streamed on Netflix.
