‘Missing Crown Prince’ Episode 3: Suho Gets Suspicious of Hong Ye Ji & Kim Joo Hun

'Missing Crown Prince' Episode 3: Choi Myung Yoon Saves Lee Gun

The episode started with Lee Gun stabbed by his servant and was luckily saved by Gap Seok (Kim Seol Jin), his personal guard.

Unable to trust anyone in the palace, the crown prince asked Gap Seok to head out of the palace as he remembered Choi Myung Yoon, who promised to be waiting for him if anything happened in the palace. 

When they arrived at their meeting place, Choi Myung Yoon was there and found Lee Gun injured and tried to rush him to the clinic, but he ended up taken to the hospital and received first aid. 

Tension Between Queen Min Su Ryeon & King Hae Jong Escalates

Meanwhile, Min Su Ryeon (Myung Se Bin) expressed discomfort at not being able to get rid of Lee Gun. She calmly urged King Hae Jong (Jeon Jin Oh), who was looking for the crown prince's whereabouts, to give up on him, but the king burst into anger and was determined to save his son from the cruel queen.

The king issued an emergency summons order to prepare for an uprising and convince ministers.

Min Su Ryun, on the other hand, poisoned Lady Yoon. The tension between the king and queen got worse. 

Meanwhile, Lee Gun, who was unconscious, survived thanks to Choi Myung Yoon who treated him again and was saddened by Gap Seok's news about Han Sang Su.

Elsewhere, Prince Do Sung met with Choi Sang Rok (Kim Joo Hun) under Hae Jong's order and asked about the queen's secret lover. He then revealed that the owner of the needle found by the crown prince was Heo Jin Su (Park Sung Woo).

However, when Prince Do Sun visited Heo Jin Su's house, he was found with his head hung. The queen shed tears after hearing the news. 

Lee Gun & Choi Myung Yoon's Blossoming Friendship

Meanwhile, Lee Gun started to feel subtle emotions while being grateful to Choi Myung Yoon, for saving him twice. He jokingly gave her a nickname, showcasing their blossoming friendship.

However, Myung Yoon was surprised when Lee Gun said that he wanted to see Choi Sang Rok and hurried to his house. The crown prince met Choi and heard about Heo Jin Su's death, who was considered the queen's secret lover.

But Lee Gun was suspicious of something and cast a skeptical eye on Choi Sang Rok. After the crown prince left, Sang Rok called Myung Yoon and told him about the unfortunate fate she would have with Lee Gun. He revealed his plan to kill Lee Gun, leading to a sharp confrontation with Myung Yoon. 

As the story progressed, it was revealed that Heo Jin Su was not Min Soo Ryun's secret love interest but none other than, the royal family's physician Choi Sang Rok. He planned on killing the crown prince to save her daughter, Myung Yoon. 

Before the episode concluded, a black-masked assassin entered the room and rescued Lee Gun and Gap Seok, who were kidnapped by Choi Sang Rok. Lee Gun was surprised and asked about the assassin's identity. 

After removing the mask, Lee Gun was shocked to know it was Choi Myung Yoon.
