Park Eun Bin and SF9 Rowoon Display Undeniable Romantic Attraction in a Fateful Encounter in New ‘The King’s Affection’ Teaser

KBS2's newest historical romance drama that will hit the small screen in October released its newest drama teaser on September 13.

"The King's Affection" (also known as "Affection" or "Yeonmo", literal title) highlighted the fateful encounter of main actors Park Eun Bin and SF9 Rowoon, which ignited a burning romantic attraction between the two.

The new historical romance series follows the unique story of Lee Hwi, played by Park Eun Bin, who was born as a twin but was abandoned in the palace due to her gender. As she grew older in the palace, she hid her gender, and did everything she could do to become the King.

Opposite SF9 Rowoon, who stars as Jeong Ji Woon, crown prince's personal manager and teacher, who eventually became attracted to Lee Hwi.

"The King's Affection" marks the first project of the two lead actors together, and Park Eun Bin's return to the small screen with sageuk (historical drama) after seven years.

Broadcast company KBS2 released its first drama teaser featuring Park Eun Bin and SF9 Rowoon's fateful encounter, which raised anticipation and excitement.

At the beginning of the video, Lee Hwi walks through the palace dressed in her beautiful hanbok. With her rosy cheeks and sweet, innocent smile, she captures the attention of the prospective viewers.

Then the next tick of the clock, Lee Hwi bumps into the charismatic and handsome manager Jeong Ji Woon who has a pure soul like the latter.

The two were momentarily stunned as they both shared gazes. The tension that surrounds the two characters and the beautiful combination of the beautiful woman who hides her identity and the attractive teacher who wants to get closer to her, raise curiosity as to how their unique story will play out.

The production team of "The King's Affection" shared their thoughts on the new drama. "This coming fall, a story that will awaken the emotional and romantic bones that have been sleeping begins. Please look forward to the refreshing combination and perfect chemistry of Park Eun Bin and SF9 Rowoon in "The King's Affection"."

'The King's Affection' Pre-Production and Premiere

"Beauty Inside" director Song Hyun Wook and "Clean with Passion for Now" writer Han Hee Jung return with a new masterpiece "The King's Affection".

Apart from the duo, actors Nam Yoon Su, Choi Byung Chan, and Bae Yoon Kyung will also appear in the drama.

Lee Pil Mo, Bae Soo Bin, DIA Chaeyeon, and Park Eun Hye will strengthen the new drama with their performance.

"The King's Affection" is slated to air on October 11 at 9:30 p.m. KST on KBS2.
