It has been previously rumored that Tom Cruise has allegedly been dating Emily Thomas, his 22-year-old assistant who purportedly looks a lot like Katie Holmes.

There were even rumors that the "Mission: Impossible" actor was planning to propose to his rumored girlfriend this 2015.

It has also been reported that there might be a problem hindering the actor's plan to pop the question this 2015 - apparently, his girlfriend's parents do not approve of him.

"Emily's parents were ecstatic for her when she got the job as Tom's assistant on Mission: Impossible, but they never imagined in a million years thought their daughter would fall for him," an insider previously told Dish Nation.

"Emily is obviously close to Tom, since she's his assistant, but there's no telling with a 22-year-old whether or not she'd be honest with them about her love life."

Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas' disapproval of Tom Cruise may have something to do with his past relationships and how he is as a dad to his ex-wives Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.
