Every country has its top universities and in Korea those prestigious schools are referred to as the SKY universities. SKY is an acronym for three schools, Seoul National University, Korea University and Yonsei University.

And while many actors may jump straight into the entertainment business in from high school or even earlier, a few also got degrees or attended one of these prestigious schools.

Here are a few of the actors that have SKY credentials.

Kim Tae Hee is not only beautiful and talented, she's smart and went to a good school.

The "Yong Pal" star attended Seoul National University, where she became the president of the SNU Women's Ski Club. In 2005, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.

Lee Sang Yoon, the star of "Twenty Again" was admitted to Seoul University in 200 but it took him 13 years to get his degree. He did well in all his classes but was too busy acting to attend on a regular basis.

Lee Honey is another actress that combines beauty and brains. The 50th Miss Korea winner pursued a B.A. and an M.A. in Korean music at SNU, graduating in 2010.  She last appeared in the drama "Shine or Go Crazy" and the film "Tazza 2: The hidden Card."

Kim Jung Hoon, who played Joo Ji Hoon's rival for the throne in "Princess Hours" also attended SNU. He was admitted to the Department of Dentistry but dropped out when he decided to act.

Jung Ryeo Won, who currently stars in "Bubble Gum," grew up in Australia. She first studied international business at Australia's Griffith University and then studied journalism at Korea University before pursuing an acting career.

Kim Ah Joong, who appeared in the k-drama Punch, graduated from Dongduk Women's University and attended Korea University and the International Hotel Management Institute in Switzerland. She is best known for her role in the film "200 Pounds Beauty."

Yonsei University also boasts a few actors among its students. Shin Hyun Joon, last seen in "Ohlala Couple," and who played Joo Won's brother in "Bridal Mask," attended Yonsei University. He was an athletics major there before starting his acting and modeling career in 1989.

Han Jae Suk, last seen in the drama "Witch's Romance," also attended Yonsei University. So did Ahn Nae Sang, who has appeared in dozens of dramas and films. Among his most recent dramas are "Splendid Politics," "Kill Me, Heal Me," "Maids" "Jang Bo Ri is Here" "Golden Rainbow" and "All About My Romance."
