Maisie Williams Refuses To Star In 'The Last Of Us' Movie?

Maisie Williams' stint in "Doctor Who" seems to be going well as many fans praise her portrayal of the immortal Ashildr.

"Doctor Who" isn't the only show keeping Maisie Williams busy these days. She also plays one of the key roles in "Game of Thrones," Arya Stark, which earned her popularity in many parts of the globe.

And according to The Week, filming for "Game of Thrones" started in July, and there's a big possibility that Maisie Williams could be working in the show's production sets in Northern Ireland, Spain and Croatia.

With a lot on her plate, does this mean that there's a very slim chance that the "Game of Thrones" actress would agree to star as Ellie in "The Last Of Us" movie despite appeals from fans of the 2013 PS3 release?

It may not be clear at the moment if a negotiation is still going on between Maisie Williams' camp and the producers of "The Last of Us" movie.

Some argue that 18-year-old actress who plays the role of Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones" may be a bit too old to portray the role of 14-year-old Ellie in the post-apocalypse movie.

Another complication could be the actress' schedule, as she is currently involved in the gargantuan production of "Game of Thrones."

"In between now and 'The Last of Us'' start date, Williams could either lose interest in the role, or become too enmeshed with other projects to participate;" Andy Crump of Screen Rant previously pointed out.

Aside from her age, some believe that Maisie Williams may be a bit too mature to play Ellie on "The Last of Us" movie.

It could be recounted that the "Game of Thrones" actress has already done her very first sex scene for an indie film called "The Falling."
