Actress Park Si Yeon gave birth to her second child, a daughter on November 14.

Her agency Mystic Entertainment, announced the news on November 15.

Park, 36, is now the mother of two daughters.

"Park Si Yeon gave birth to a baby girl," said the Mystic Entertainment representative. "The two are currently healthy and doing well. Congratulations are in order for Park Si Yeon for birthing a precious new life."

Park also released a statement thanking people for their good wishes.

"Thanks to everyone who sent their blessings on the birth of my lovely girl," said Park. "I will continue to maintain a healthy, happy home as the mother of two children. I will also do my best to present a good image as the actress Park Si Yeon so please look forward to that."

The actress married her husband Park Sang Hyun in 2011. Her non-celebrity husband is an office worker at a small company. He is four years younger than she is. The couple had their first child, a daughter, in 2013. After that Park Si Yeon returned to acting with a role in the drama "The Greatest Marriage." In that drama she played a popular newscaster who must face ostracism when she decides to have a child and remain single.

When she was filming "The Greatest Marriage," Park said that her parenting experience helped her better relate to the role. She said that the daily challenges of parenthood have helped her understand the struggles that working mothers go through. She also credits her husband with supporting her career.

"My husband is consistently calm, but I have big mood swings," said Park. "Without his constant support, I don't think I would have been able to start working again."

Park, a contestant in the Miss Korea pageant in 2000, began her acting career in the drama "My Girl," in 2005

The actress appeared in several successful dramas including "Coffee House, "Family Outing," "Nice Guy" and "The Greatest Love." She also had roles in several films, including "Marine Boy" and "Dachimawa Lee." In 2015, she made her Hollywood debut in the action film "Last Knights," which was set in medieval times. Her "Last Knights" co-stars included Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman, as well as Korean actor Ahn Sung Ki.
