Tiny G's Do Hee Will Appear In 'Daughter Is Dad'

After appearing in the MBC weekend drama "My Mom," Tiny G's Do Hee will take a role in the film "Daughter Is Dad."

"Daughter Is Dad" tells the story of a father and daughter who are not getting along. They continue to grow further apart until they get a chance to read each other's thoughts. It is not yet known whether this will be accomplished by a potentially embarrassing body switch or whether the dad and daughter can suddenly read each other's minds. However it happens, the chance to learn each other's thoughts does help them better understand each other and remember happier times. The new perspective ultimately improves the father-daughter relationship.

The film's father and daughter are played by Yoon Je Moon, who appeared in the drama "Three Days," and Jung So Min, last seen in the disaster drama "D-Day." Do Hee will play Jung So Min's best friend. Do Hee's character is a schoolgirl who is not afraid to speak her mind, whatever the consequences. She does not let her best friend get away with anything. And that makes her a good friend to have.

Min Do Hee debuted with the girl group Tiny G in 2012 but by November of 2014 had decided that she wanted to focus on acting. She made her acting debut with a role in the popular cable drama "Reply 1994." She played Jo Yoon Jin, a big fan of the then popular group Seo Taiji and the Boys. She followed that role with cameos in "Mother's Garden" and "Pluto's Secret Society." She played Min Do Hee in "Boarding House 24th Street" and Choi Min Hee in "Cantabile Tomorrow." She had another cameo in "Ho Gu's Love."

"Dad Is Daughter" also stars Shin Go and Shim Hyung Take. The film is scheduled for a 2016 release.
