Fans Of “The Heirs” Cast Donate Rice To Support Their Idols
Tons and tons of rice from Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye's fans were collected last October 7 and displayed at the SBS building lobby in Mokdong.
Lee Min Ho's fans sent in around 12 tons of rice through the project "Dream for Lee Min Ho" and the gifts were estimated to feel around 100,000 people. Along with this package are coal briquettes and baby formula to be donated to the less fortunate under Lee Min Ho's name.
The gifts were given by Lee Min Ho's fans from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, showing not only his international popularity, but also the generosity of his fans from around the world.
Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye fans donated around 2,420 kilograms or around 3 tons of rice. These were from fans around Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, China, America, Turkey and more, proving just how much the actress has grown as a Hallyu star.
Her fans also write messages of encouragement for the actress such as, "To our shiing star Park Shin Hye, we are happy because of you."
The rice donated by her fans will be forwarded to Nowon Nanum, an organization that Park Shin Hye frequently gives aid to.
Lee Min Ho is Kim Tan and Park Shin Hye is Cha Eun Sang in the highly anticipated drama "The Heirs" which premieres on October 9 at 22:00 (KST).
