Suzy’s Acting Is Inspired by Shim Eun Ah

Many people are taking note of Miss A member Suzy's similarity with actress Shim Eun Ah.

In an interview, Suzy admits to taking inspiration from Shin Eun Ah for her character Seo Yeon in the movie "Architecture 101".

According to the actress, "I watched the movie while preparing for my role in "Architecture 101" and I was very impressed with her acting. I would watch the movie over and over again, hoping that I would learn something from it.

Netizens are even calling her "The 2nd Shim Eun Ah" on top of her other title, the "Nation's First Love".

Shim Eun Ah starred in the 1998 movie "Christmas in August", one of the most popular movies of its time. She plays Da Rim, a parking agent who falls in love with the ailing photographer Jung Won, who is played by Han Seok Gyu.

Even 12 years after she retired from acting, she is still being considered as one of the best actresses in South Korea.

For this movie, she received the Best Actress award from Blue Dragon Film Awards, Baeksang Arts Awards and Korea Film Critique Association Awards.

"Christmas in August" will be shown in theatres once again on November 9.
