Maksim Chmerkovskiy And Peta Murgatroyd Are Engaged On The Dance Floor While Performing At “Sway: A Dance Trilogy”

The "Dancing With The Stars" star Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are engaged on the dance floor.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are now newly engaged couple with Chmerkovskiy proposing Murgatroyd on Saturday night while they were performing at Olympia Theater in Miami. The Ukrainian dance pro proposed to his leading lady on the dance floor, while they were cheered by other fellow dancers, according to Huffington Post.

The duo was allegedly performing at "Sway: A Dance Trilogy" show in Miami when the romantic event took place. "I'm in love with you and I want to be in love with you for the rest of my life," Chmerkovskiy said, reported an unnamed source that witnessed the wonderful event. "Will you marry me?" asked Chmerkovskiy, added the source.

Chmerkovskiy uploaded their engagement picture on Instagram to share the most amazing event of his life with his fans. "I said yes!!!!!! You have my heart forever my love. Love always wins," responded Murgatroyd with another Instagram photo with a diamond ring emoticon. In the picture uploaded by Murgatroyd, the couple was seen sharing a kiss. 

Though Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd started dating in 2012 they weren't together all the time. Their relationship has now gone through a happy engagement, and they are on their way to being happily married. The duo celebrated their engagement at SWAY Alfalit Gala at the Gary Nader Art Centre with Maksim's brother, Val Chmerkovskiy.

The Ukrainian star was engaged to Karina Smirnoff, who is also his "Dancing With The Stars" co-star, but later the couple called off their engagement in 2009.

"The Dancing with the Stars pros walked arm-in-arm on Sunday morning with smiles plastered on their faces after Chmerkovskiy asked for Murgatroyd's hand in marriage during a performance of Sway at the city's Olympia Theater," reported People.
