Actor Lee Min Ho came back as Kim Tan on SBS drama "Heir" this fall. In an interview, Lee Min Ho said he was excited to talk about his acting career.

It's your first time working with the accredited drama scriptwriter Kim Eun Suk. How's the synergy coming along?

To be honest, it was weird acting as a high school student. I'm almost 28. But Kim Eun Suk told me not to feel weird about it but just go with it.

What's the main reason for picking "Heirs" even after feeling weird about wearing a high school uniform again?

Right after I filmed "Boys Over Flowers," I wanted to look older. But, as time went and I took up more roles, I became a composed adult. I wanted to take up a lively role before it was too late.

Many male actors say their role model was Ku Joon Pyo from "Boys Over Flowers." How do you feel? Do you think we'll see a glimpse of Ku Joon Pyo from Kim Tan?

I try not to think about it, but Ku Joon Pyo is a compilation of all characters of romantic melodrama genre. But I've changed since then, and I plan to empty out myself to play the most realistic Kim Tan.

Lee Min Ho on TV is like the perfect prince. What do you think about this public image?

I've never thought about it but I feel that, because of the Korean dramas' characteristic, I have played many roles that fall into the stereotype of the perfect prince. But I don't regret the works I've selected and played. I've learned a lot, and will continue to."
