Chun Jung Myung and Kim Min Jung Deny The Rumors

They're close. They're friends. But are actors Chun Jung Myung and Kim Min Jung dating?

Rumors say they have dated for the past 10 months, although they have been friends for much longer.

The actors both star in the film "Queen of the Night" and it would not be the first time that actors met on set, became friends and began dating. Some of the dating rumors began on the film set when members of the movie production staff noticed how affectionate the actors were with each other.

But the two actors say they only seem so close because they have been friends for such a long time. They worked together in the drama "Fashion 70s."

It's also not the first time their behavior has sparked rumors. When they appeared on an episode of the variety show "Running Man," they were physically affectionate.

And the rumors seemed to be validated by statements that Chun Jung Myung made during a film press conference. The actor said that he could really see his co-star as girlfriend material.

"She would make a great girlfriend and has many charms," he said. "She's cute, lovable and has a great laugh."

However, Chun Jung Myung's agency, Red Line Entertainment, was quick to squash the dating rumors, also saying the two are simply friends. If the two were dating, they say, surely they would know about it.

Her agency also issued a denial, saying the scandal was groundless.

"It is true that during the filming of the movie the two grew closer but they have not progressed to dating," said a representative of her agency.

Whether or not the couple is dating, they do seem to care about each other. The bond between them is obvious to many who saw the movie, which was released last week.

In this film, a husband discovers that the woman he married is not really who she says she is. She seems like the perfect wife, happy to make a home for him. They are content and he considers himself a lucky man until he finds a photo that would suggest she has not told him everything about her past.

He decides to investigate his wife's life and while her past is not exactly what he feared, it is surprising.

Chun Jung Myung is known for his work in the dramas "Goodbye Solo," "What's Up Fox," "Cinderella's Sister," "The Duo" and "Glory Jane."

Lee Min Jung is one of the few kdrama child actors who successfully moved on to adult roles. She is known for her work in the dramas "Ireland," "New Heart," and "The Thorn Birds," as well as the films "Flying Boys" and "The Scam."

They have been friends for the past eight years.
