Showtime’s “Homeland” Star, Morena Baccarin Gives Birth to Baby Boy (Photo/Video)
Damian Lewis’s wife in “Homeland,” Morena Baccarin gives birth to a baby boy. The new mom and director husband, Austin Chick welcomed a new addition to their family in Glendale, Calif. Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The rep for Baccarin confirmed the good news, said USA Today. Citing a report by People.com, USA Today noted that Baccarin, 24 delivered the baby the natural way.
This could be a double triumph for Jessica Brody, Baccarin’s role in Showtime’s “Homeland.” It is earlier reported that the baby was being breech - - baby came out feet first, not the usual head-first delivery - - and therefore natural giving birth to the baby was a surprise.
Baccarin commended her doctor, Ronald Wu at Glendale Adventist Medical Center for the successful delivery . The actress was quoted by USA Today as telling People magazine that Dr. Wu “gave her the birth experience she wanted.”
In “Homeland,” Baccarin plays the good wife of Sgt. Nick Brody played by English actor, Damian Lewis. Recent episodes of the hit series shows Jessica as having troubles with daughter, Dana. In Season 3, Episode 4, Dana had gone missing, forcing her mom to call the police.
