The actress, who played a dark and mysterious girl named Jojo, got entangled with his two male lead characters due to the conflict using the application called Love Alarm. In this drama, Kim So Hyun showed her new side to the viewers where, she played a more mature role, and recently her kissing scene with his co-male star Song Kang, got viral through SNS.

On the other hand, during Kim So Hyun's interview, she shared that she was burdened with playing a mature character where on the drama, it was divided into two era, their highschool days and their adult life. Kim So Hyun said that,

"It's rather awkward to try to look mature. It's nice to wear school uniforms. It's comfortable and I wear it a lot, so I think I should wear it when I can", followed by a short laugh.

She then added, "I always worry that if I can't see it or if it doesn't melt into the pole, I think that the public who sees me needs time, but even if I look mature right now, my image can't change quickly. If I show it on a natural process, maybe one day you'll feel like 'this girl has grown up".

Due to this, in the meantime, the actress decided to take it slowly and accept less of mature roles, focusing on a character portrayal that suits her 20-year-old age well.

Meanwhile, the actress Kim So Hyun revealed that because it is her first time accepting a project and working for Netflix, the actress felt pressured for she felt like she was shooting for a film.

Kim shared that upon hearing the character of Jojo and the project, which is based on her one of the favorite webtoon, can't give up the role easily. She also said that she's very excited upon starting the filming but got a lot of worries, for all episodes will be released for a day, all at one, so Kim So Hyun, isn't so sure if it will be accepted by the viewers.

Her worry was then decreased, upon knowing that "Love Alarm" was loved by a lot of viewers.

The actress is currently working on her "Tale of Nokdu" where she will be portraying a wannabe gisaeng.
