Gong Hyo Jin Talks About Her Current Co-Stars And Responds To Being Actors’ Favorite Pick

The interview began after the reporter said Gong Hyo Jin is always the top choice of actors when they are asked who they want to work with.

Gong Hyo Jin laughed and said that people only say that out of a habit. She said it was like how 'Gongvely' or the combination of Gong and 'lovely' became her keyword. She said everyone starts to pick it up as a habit once people start saying it. She said that it might start when one person picked her and more people began choosing her out of habit.

She was asked who her best acting partner out of all the projects she made. She said honestly she was lucky with all of her projects. She said that her partners really fit every project and she can be the best in her characters for every project. She revealed that her best partner was Kang Ha Neul.

She was asked why she chose Kang Ha Neul over Kim Rae Won. She joked and said that Park Shin Hye was Kim Rae Won's best partner pick. She said that she heard that Park Shin Hye performed great in their drama. Gong Hyo Jin admitted that Park Shin Hye did better than her. She said that she read Kim Rae Won's interviews and he praised her a lot. She thought that she should have done better.

She said she asked Kim Rae Won on set if he changed his mind now that he wanted to work with her. She said that he probably wanted her to treat him better. She said that she is a very brusque person and not good at taking care of people. She said Kim Rae Won felt uncomfortable with a woman who likes to take the lead.

Gong Hyo Jin said in the past that Kang Ha Neul is her favorite acting partner because both of them are not good at memorizing lines. She said that he is bad at memorizing his lines. They asked each other what is the next line and help each other. She said the rest of her partners were all good with memorizing lines. Gong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul are the same in this aspect and that makes her comfortable. When two people have similarities, they become a perfect match.
