“Golden Rainbow” Received Ratings Lower Than Expected

MBC's new drama "Golden Rainbow" aired its premiere episode last November 2, but it did not do as well as expected.

It gained a rating of 10.9%, and it was 6.6% lower than the finale of its predecessor "Scandal", which ended with a 17.5% rating. Many were disappointed that it barely passed the two-digit mark, but there is much to look forward to as it is only in its second episode.

The first episode shows a woman who has lost her husband and child, and the second episode skip a ten-year time period, showing child actors Kim Yoo Jung and Oh Jae Moo portraying their roles as Baek Won and Seo Do Young, respectively.

According to representatives from the drama, the first ten episodes of will focus on the child aspects of the characters, and lead cast UEE and Jung Il Woo will make their appearance in the latter part.
