Yoon Kye Sang, Ha Ji Won, And More Talked About "Chocolate" And Why Viewers Should Watch It

This drama tells the story of a neurosurgeon who can't express his true feelings named (Yoon Kye Sang), and a kind and a passionate chef named Moon Cha Young( Ha Ji Won). They met each other at a hospice and falls in love while trying to heal each other. Director Lee Hyung Min described "Chocolate".

He said it is a drama about people who is tired of living. This drama shares a story that is relatable and comforting for viewers. He said the people responsible for producing this drama are also grateful.
The actor also said "Chocolate" is a light drama about the life and death of people. He compared the drama to food. He said it is like food without MSG in it. He values the ingredients. He shared that the best chefs cook by using main ingredients, salt, and heat. He said this drama showed off a great cast that will make you excited about how the actors will perform.  

Yoon Kye Sang was able to return in this drama after 3 years, while it is Ha Ji Won's comeback project after 2 years. Yoon Kye Sang talked about the reason why he chose the project. He said the drama, the director, writer, and the cast members are great. He thought this drama is a good opportunity. He said this is his first human melodrama. He grabbed this opportunity and didn't want to waste it.

Ha Ji Won said she did preparations since March by learning to bake and cook Italian cuisine. She also learned to cook Korean food from her mother.  She said she thought of what a chef's kitchen will look like. She was curious and decided to find out more about cooking. She decided to make pasta while working as an assistant in a restaurant. She said the space rhythm is the same as the orchestra and the movement is fast-paced. She was amazed at the chefs and how they can cook delicious food. She considered her experience in the restaurant as a big help in her character even though some customers recognized her. She really wants to portray her character well by learning new things.

This drama featured the story of the bereaved families from the collapse of Sampoong Department Store in the year 1995. Yoon Kye Sang said the writer doesn't want people to forget the accident that happened many years ago. He said the drama didn't tackle too much information about the incident. He said he filmed by thinking the incident should be remembered to avoid accidents like that to happen.

Jang Seung Jo talked about why people should watch the drama. He said this drama will share life stories and people who show genuine concern for each other. He said the hearts of viewers will melt and they will laugh at the funny scenes. 

"Chocolate" is set to premiere on November 29 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
