SBS's New Action-Packed Drama "Good Casting" Unveils Badass Poster
"Exciting, Entertaining, Exhilarating - a refreshing action-comedy!" This is the caption of the latest poster of SBS's drama "Good Casting," along with the three armed leading ladies.
"Good Casting" is an action-comedy about three beautiful but tough National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents going undercover on a secret mission. Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Young, and Kim Ji Young will play the leading roles of these notorious NIS agents.
Choi Kang Hee, 42, a multi-awarded actress from the movies "Protect The Boss" (2011), "7th Grad Civil Servant" (2013), "Queen of Mystery" 1 and 2, and many others, will play as Baek Chan Mi. Although she once a legendary black ops agent, she got demoted after one mission went south. She will be doing a desk job and has a very difficult personality to handle.
Choi Kang Hee has been a DJ for the radio programs "Pump Up the Volume" and Night Flight." She authored the photo-essay album "A Little Child's Happiness" in 2009.
Im Ye Eun, a super-intelligent agent but with a catastrophic clumsy attitude, will be played by the award-winning 36-year-old Yoo In Young.
Yoo In Young (Yoo Hyo Min) began her career as a model but continued her career as an actress. "Drama City" (2005) was her first TV series, followed by other famous films and dramas, which include "A Man Called God" (2010), "Empress Ki" (2013), "Oh My Venus" (2015), "Hold Me Tight" (2018) and many more. Because of her high fashion sense, in 2013, she represented the popular cosmetic brand Elizabeth Arden in Asia. She is the first Korean actress to ever do so.
Kim Ji Young will complete the trio as Hwang Mi Soon. The character became a housewife for 18 years but was a former black operations agent.
The 45-year-old Kim Ji Young made her debut way back in 1980. Throughout her career, she has bagged awards, such as "Best New Actress," "Best Supporting Actress," and Excellence Award Actress in a Serial Drama."
From simple office-related jobs, they surprisingly got to do a field assignment, a once-in-a-lifetime task that is so crucial, in order to save the country.
Before going full-throttle, a subordinate of Baek Chan-Mi died and missed to catch the target, causing her demotion. The mishap caused her to work in NIS's cyber-security team. Being chosen in this secret mission, will she be able to redeem herself?
The poster was unveiled on April 26, which shows how ready these girls are to fight enemies. With each one carrying their weapons, these ladies look pretty much badass, not to mention the background is aflame.
The producers are confident with the outcome of the action-comedy series. They commented, "As the three secret agents disguise themselves and go undercover for an unheard-of infiltration mission, they will deliver laughter, emotion, and delightful humor."
They humbly asked that viewers may show their anticipation in this energizing drama.
Tonight, April 27, at 9:40 pm KST, "Good Casting" will have its premiere. Also, it will be available on Viki with English subtitles.
