"A Piece of Your Mind" Recap: Ha Won Finally Hears The Truth About His Mother's Death

Ha Won learned that In-wook knew what happened to his mother the day she died. Soon Ho restrained him from meeting In-wook and requested to do it after the recital. 

Ha Won walked Seo Woo home and was about to bid goodbye when Eun Joo saw them outside the house. Min Jung invited them to take a walk and show them a solitary place to sit and find peace within. Ha Won felt relieved and held Seo Woo's hand for comfort.

The next day, In-wook's recital was about to start. The first show tickets got sold out. Soon Ho felt happy for In-wook and excited as well. Seo Woo prepared the place and stayed in the technical area with Engineer Choi. Soon Ho arrived and felt shaken as the first part of the show, nobody showed up. It was supposed to be a sold out show.

Ha Won arrived alone and seated at the center while waiting for In-wook to start. In-wook walked at the center stage and sat before the piano. He saw Ha Won and ignored his presence. He focused on performing.

Ha Won stood up in the middle of the play and walked near the stage. He called In-Wook to get his attention and asked him what happened to his mother. In-wook decided to tell him the truth about what happened that day when they encountered a blizzard. 

His mother met In-wook and greeted him that afternoon. In-wook misdirected and urged Ha Won's mother to walk towards the school under the heavy blizzard. She bought two pairs of boots for Ji Soo and Ha Won. In-wook tried to call her, but she didn't hear him. Ha Won's mother continued to walk and got trapped in the mountain.

Ha Won cried and stepped out to get hold of himself. Tears rolled down from In-wook's eyes as he remembered Ji Soo. 

Ha Won went home later that night. Seo Woo waited for him. They sat and embraced each other, feeling the warmth to ease out the pain. Seo Woo shared with Ha Won to think of the ways that will make him happy. Sooner, things will change and he will feel better.

The next day, Soon Ho visited In-wook and asked him to see Ha Won. She shared how Ha Won tried to work hard and protect himself since he became an orphan. He searched for answers about his mother's death for nine years. In-wook looked at Soon Ho but he didn't respond. Soon Ho stood up and left. 

In-wook discovered about the Ji Soo device. He wished to hear Ji Soo's voice and feel her emotions once again. He confronted Seo Woo about the whole project. He asks her to hand it over, saying he has the right to have it. Seo Woo denied that about the device and wished to walk out of the studio. In-wook held her arms as the plant slides from his grip. It fell and the pot broke as the soil and plant scattered on the floor.

Seo Woo felt sad and told In-Wook there's no need to hear about Ji Soo when she has told him about her feelings before. She walked away and Soon Ho helped her settle at the plant area. Soon Ho contacted Ha Won and told him about Seo Woo. Ha Won arrived in the studio and barged in the music room where In-wook stayed. He grabbed In-wook towards the wall and strangled him with anger.
