All About The Single and Pretty Actress Jang Na Ra in "Oh, My Baby"
"Oh, My Baby" started a solid premiere and has excellent reviews with its rom-com genre. Lead actress Jang Na Ra undeniably makes the story alive and fun to watch!
This is not the first time that Jang Na Ra portrayed a woman related to motherhood. She appeared in the drama "Fated To Love You," whose main lead went through labor pains. She also starred in the series as a tenacious modern-day empress in "The Last Empress."
Viewers then laughed and cried with Jang Na Ra in the romance-drama "Go Back Couple." And now, she gives life to the character of Ha Ri in "Oh, My Baby." Watching her round wide-eyed innocence with her cute lips and deadpan lines would make you love her more.
In "Oh, My Baby," Ha Ri is a hardworking single lady who has not dated for the past decade. She is pretty but slow-witted when it comes to romantic relationships.
Ha Ri works in a baby magazine featuring mothers and babies' journeys, which she never experienced. She realized that she has something missing in her life at the age of 39. As soon as she worked up to getting pregnant and decided not to get married since it's hopeless to find a man, and she got castigated.
In real life, though, Jang Na Ra is a 39-year-old single and pretty lady. In her latest media conference, she answered questions that come compare her character in "Oh, My Baby." Jang Na Ra shared her thoughts on why she remained single all this time.
"I play the part of Jang Jang Ha Ri, who is a reporter for fifteen years and wishes to be the head editor. It's a role that wishes to have a child and build a family of herself," the actress said.
In the series, a lot of women end their careers to take care of their kids. I think women of my age will relate, so I accepted the character," she added.
Jang Na Ra shared that Jang Ha Ri, as a character, is fun and honest.
"Her personality is different than mine, but I guess it will be fun to take on the role. There are dissimilarities between Jang Ha Ri and me," Jang Ha Ri said.
"I didn't like kids. They're lovable and adorable, but it did not make me think that I desired to be married quickly and have a child. This series made me sincerely think about it, though. It's a great, lighthearted project, but it can still make you cry," she confessed.
Jang Na Ra then opened up on the reason why she doesn't believe in marriage.
"I was unable to get married, it seems, for the reason that I've constantly been working. I still ponder on whether I should be married or not. If I meet someone really good and precious, then it's time. I want to tie the knot and build a healthy family," she said.
In "Oh, My Baby," Jang Ha Ri feels that it's hopeless for her to find the right person meant for her, but fate leads her to three good, potential husbands who are ready to shower her with love. The excitement comes with three actors fighting for her attention.
