Jeon Mi Do Shares Thoughts on "Hospital Playlist" + Her OST Tops Major Realtime Charts

"Hospital Playlist" Season 1 ended as Jeon Mi Do's character transferred to another hospital. Her good friend admitted to her what he felt towards their friendship.

In an interview with News1, Jeon Mi Do shared her thoughts about the end of the first season of the tvN series. The viewers across borders give good reviews and love her character as Chae Song Hwa, a neurologist, a mentor, and a good friend.

She commented, "During the shooting, we filmed a real hospital at times or on a set with other places. I am happy we went through everything without experiencing problems. Those times we went out to film, everyone was concerned because of the virus. It was a hard time when we did the drama series. It was good for the ones who loved the drama."

The actress shared how Song Hwa came to be a perfect person in character. She said, "Song Hwa's role was too great. Sometimes, I think about what if I am to be that kind of person someday. I am grateful to show a great model and very good at a lot of things like her. Although there are still quirky sides to her, in the drama series she can't sing, she is addicted to food. Those things made Song Hwa's character more charming."

The kind and good doctor transforms her life to a new level. When asked what's her comment about her rise to popularity, she continued, "On my own, I don't read online comments and reactions as I am scared. A few of my friends sent them to me. My soundtrack hit no. 1. Then, I concluded that people loved the drama. I have more flowers on my Instagram and people sending messages through it. I thought when I go out nobody will know me. As I wore sunglasses and a mask, people on the streets were still able to recognize me."

The drama also showed how they all enjoy the band, and all of them played musical instruments. The actress said, "Last year as the cast started filming I practiced the bass last summer. Everyone practiced at their own pace. Kim Dae Myung began taking piano lessons in spring. As the shooting starts, we gather together then practice at the same time. We bonded together, and it was easy when we got to film on the set."

Actress Jeon Mi Do is grateful that in less than two weeks, her soundtrack became no. 1 on major realtime charts. Last May 22, tvN released its latest OST, titled "I Knew I Love," which is sung by Jeon Mi Do and a remake of Shin Hyo Beom's 2006 track.

Jeon Mi Do shared her excitement, "Surprisingly, I never thought people would show interest in the song. My Manager told me that it reached No.1. I am happy that you followed it."

She also revealed her plans while waiting for Season 2.

"If there will be a chance to do a musical or a play, I will do it. The cast 'Hospital Playlist' will be doing band sessions," Jeon Mi Do said.

Fun fact: Jeon Mi Do is a musical actress.
