"My Unfamiliar Family" Recap: Eun Hee Discovers A More Shocking Secret

A flashback of Jin Sook and Sang Shik's married life appeared, showing when their children were still young. Sang Shik got involved in a love affair, which Jin Sook took in stride.

She knew that her husband met other women as he came home late and always kept track of his pager. Though she wanted to end her life, she chose to focus on taking care of their children. At the beginning of their marriage, everything seemed perfect, but Sang Shik changed after their two daughters. 

Eun Joo disagreed with her husband, Tae Hyung, that her father tried to commit suicide. She insisted that Sang Shik suffered from insomnia and also need medicines for psychological illness. She preferred Tae Hyung to talk to him after he fully recovers.

Eun Hee joined Geon Joo as they chose to stay in his apartment. They tried to make out, but Eun Hee's imagination stopped them. She went home early as her disguise.

While Chan Hyuk and Ji Woo finished more soju, Eun Hee picked up her brother at the restaurant and took him to her house to rest for the night.

Tae Hyung had plans for overseas travel for a seminar. He met Eun Hee to ask her if she can visit and watch over her sister. He mentioned her father's suicide attempt. Eun Hee was surprised by the news.

Later that evening, Eun Hee visited her parents' place. On her way, she saw Jin Sook getting inside a car. She stopped by the store where her mother stood a while ago. She found out that her mother is seeing someone else. 

Eun Hee decided to visit her father and spend the evening with him. Sang Shik, after the forest incident he lost part of his memory that includes his past and his family. He is trying to recover with their help. He didn't realize that before the incident, he had a big fight with his wife, Jin Sook. Eun Hee brought his father to the karaoke bar and helped him remember the songs he used to like.

The next day, Eun Joo visited her parents as Tae Hyung is off to the airport. She requested to talk to her mother privately. She shared the memories she had with her at a young age. She clearly remembers as Jin Sook tag her along for a few days leaving their home. They never ate for days, and her mother would convince her to drink the poisonous herbal drink. Jin Sook admitted she was trying to abort Jin Woo. She never mentioned that her father had an affair that breaks her heart.

That evening, Eun Hee, Chan Hyuk, and Eun Joo met up for a drink. They spent the night talking about their college years and catching up on the old days. Eun Hee teased up Chan Hyuk to her old sister. Eun Hee spent sleeping at Eun Joo's house.

The following morning, Eun Hee went to Tae Hyung's office and got curios with his laptop as he left it open. Eun Hee discovered a group chat where it talks about homosexuality. Tae Hyung is hiding his identity as gay.

Eun Joo woke up and looked for her sister. She found Eun Hee at the study room of Tae Hyung, looking pale. Eun Joo had a hint that she read something on the laptop. She looked at it and found the group chat where her husband is a member.
