WATCH: Lee Seung Gi and Cha Tae Hyun are Hilarious in Teasers for “Hometown Flex”
Lee Seung Gi and Cha Tae Hyun's new variety show has recently released hilarious teasers for the viewers to entice excitement - and it worked!
TVN's "Hometown Flex" is described as a hardcore show, wherein Lee Seung Gi and Cha Tae Hyun, who are born originally in Seoul, try to experience the life in featured guests' hometowns in the show. "Hometown Flex" is directed by Producing Director Yoo Ho Jin, who also formerly directed the show, "2 Days and 1 Night."
In the first teaser, Cha Tae Hyun looked as if he did not know anything about the upcoming TV show while being interviewed by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho. He says that he learned about the title in a news article.
In a different interview with Producing Director Yoo Ho Jin, Producing Director Na Young Suk gave good advice to PD Yoo Ho Jin to add a little more potential to the things he is good at doing.
In the previous interview with Cha Tae Hyun, Yoo Jae Suk asked him about his impressions of Producing Director Yoo Ho Jin. Cha Tae Hyun answers the question by saying that he thinks Producing Director Yoo Ho Jin looks a bit weak and frail. However, Cha Tae Hyun says that they have a good relationship and are not capable of hating each other even if they wanted or even tried.
Cha Tae Hyun adds that things would be nice if they worked well together because everytime they work, it seems to end very badly. Yoo Jae Suk then reassures him that if things do not turn out well this time. He will stop getting involved with the show.
It also seems that Jo Se Ho takes an interest in joining the variety show. However, the variety show recently announced that the other member hosting the show is Lee Seung Gi.
In the other individual teasers, Lee Seung Gi looks more than a bit confused and stressed about how a specific hometown eats their dishes. One, in particular, is how chili pepper sauce and vinegar were added to sundae or blood sausages. He was quite angry about how other hometowns enjoy their food differently, which was so foreign to him. One of the people in the background told him off by saying that Lee Seung Gi is a "Seoul Bumpkin."
In another individual teaser, Cha Tae Hyun listens to a person talking in fluent Busan dialect and gets utterly confused, but then he ended up saying that he perfectly understood what the person was saying. The person annoyed, he called Cha Tae Hyun a "Seoul Bumpkin."
"Hometown Flex" will premiere on July 12 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
