More Cast Members Will Join Eric and Yoo In Na In New Drama "The Spy Who Loved Me"

Cast members, including Girl's Day's So Jin, Lee Jong Won, and many more, will be joining Eric and Yoo In Na in the new drama "The Spy Who Loved Me"!

According to recent news, MBC has made it official that Shinwa's Eric, Yoo In Na, and Im Joo Hwan will be part of the cast of their new series "The Spy Who Loved Me," which tells the story of a woman, who unintentionally gets tangled in her husband and ex-husband's jobs involving the world of espionage, and divulging of confidential information to help agencies.

Girls Day's So Jin will be playing the role of Bae Doo Rae, a friend and a business partner of Kang Ah Reum (Yoo In Na). Kang Ah Reum is a designer of wedding dresses, while Bae Doo Rae is a designer for wedding shoes, which makes them the perfect business partners. 

Bae Doo Rae's character is described to be realistic and confident with her single status. She is quite blunt about giving advice but is like a sister to Kang Ah Reum.

Joining the cast is actor Lee Jong Won, who plays the tinker. He is considered as an expert at fixing and restoring classic cars and is also the youngest employee working at Hermes, which is a spy industry where Derek Hyun (Im Joo Wan) also works at.

Lee Joo Woo is set to portray the role of Kim Dong Ran, the second daughter of the conglomerate Dong Tak Group and the DDK Foods' CEO. Her character is considered a popular influence for the youth in college. She is beautiful, smart, and is often voted as the woman that college students look up to.

Kim Dong Ran is undeniably rich but because she was born out of wedlock. She is constantly fighting with her brother, Kim Dong Taek, about inheritance.

Cha Joo Young will be portraying Hwang Seo Ra, who works as a secret agent at Interpol, where Jun Ji Hoon, portrayed by Shinwa's Eric, is working. Her character is described as a person who is very passionate about her job and enjoys the thrill of her work. She is also a character that can be described as a girl crush in the drama.

Bae In Hyuk will join the upcoming drama playing the role of Kim Young Go, who works as the youngest member in the analytics department at the Bureau of Classified Industries. Currently, he works on a case disguised as the head of the sales department at the publishing company named Gulliver.

Despite him looking very young, Kim Young Go is not to be underestimated. He is extremely gifted with intelligence and was able to graduate from KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).

"The Spy Who Loved Me" will air in October this 2020!
