MBC's "Chip-In" released new stills, highlighting the mother-daughter theme of Yoo Bit Na (Kim Hye Joon) and Kim Ji Hye (Oh Na Ra).

"Chip-In" is a black comedy mystery drama that will follow the lives of nine people gathered at a home of a well-renowned artist. The gathering came to place in the hopes that they may get the inheritance from the artist.

Yoo Bit Na seems to be different from the rest of the group. She actually stands out among them as she is ambitious and very much independent, though she is just a college student she pays for her tuition by herself and her expenses for her lifestyle. She never asked for help financially from her father. Among others, Yoo Bit Na is the least who is interested in getting the inheritance from her father.

She looks down on her mother, Kim Ji Hye, a former mistress of the artist as she finds her selfish, like the others, who wants the money only for herself. And she does not like tagging along with her mother to go to the artist's house and finds the act pathetic.

In one of the stills, it displays how Kim Ji Hye shows how compassionate enough she is by showing her concern to the wound of Yoo Bit Na in her right palm. The incident took place the day after they arrived at the artist's home and made Kim Ji Hye angry.

The production team said that after Yoo Bit Na arrived at the house, she got a threat. The person responsible for threatening Yoo Bit Na will start the mystery. Unfolding more and more mystery as they get close as to who was the culprit and who will get the artist's inheritance.

The production staff could attest how good the two had portrayed the act as mother and daughter as they could feel the tension and confusion while doing the scene. The drama series will be highlighting how the two will manage to survive while staying at the house, and they only have each other. They have to be careful with their move as it may affect them and harm them.

In the drama, the daughter acts like she is the mother as she keeps on nagging her childish mother who does not know what to do with her life and telling her other things on what to do. From a previous interview, Kim Hye Joon was flattered when the staff said she has a big resemblance with Oh Na Ra, and she thinks she really does, as she liked the veteran actress very much. The two got close even off cam that they follow each other's social media. They also cook together.

Oh Na Ra even joked that their chemistry could win them Best Couple Award at the MBC Drama Awards this year. She added that they never really knew who the real culprit was until the last episode. They even were suspicious of each other and have their separate theories. Because they have no idea who the culprit was, it helped them make the scenes feel more natural.

"Chip-In" will premiere on July 22 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Stay tuned for more updates!
