Shin Se Kyung Becomes First Korean Actress To Surpass 1 Million YouTube Subscribers
The first Korean actress to surpass 1 million YouTube subscribers is Shin Se Kyung. Recently, the actress celebrated and expressed her happiness for reaching 1 million subscribers.
On July 25, the actress's agency, Namoo Actors, released a statement about this new milestone. Shin Se Kyung expressed her gratitude through the agency's official Instagram account with a post saying, "1 million YouTube subscribers. It's a Happy Saturday with actress Shin Se Kyung!"

Last July 15, she posted her plans on Instagram to celebrate with her followers in reaching a million subscribers. She mentioned that part of her ideas is to draw two of the subscriber's who watch her stories. At the same time, she will spend time talking with the chosen winners. Shin Se Kyung invited her viewers to participate and join her for the said event on July 30 and 31. She also plans to include the game as one of her vlog contents.
We shall wait for the actress to show us once she receives her Gold play button from YouTube and has a meaningful time with her fans. The actress launched her YouTube channel in late September and made her vlog on October 7 with her baking and daily life activities.
During those few months of working with her channel, she made a buzz in the social media with her beauty and natural mood she is in with her daily activities. Her YouTube channel went viral, and in one video alone, it garnered 1.4 million views and 5,100 comments. In the early days of her baby's start as a YouTuber, her channel also broke 270,000 subscribers in just five weeks.
Shin Se Kyung shares her daily life with her viewers like what she bakes, what are the meals she prepares, and how she walks her dogs.
Meanwhile, the actress will appear in JTBC's upcoming romance drama "Run On." It's set to premiere in the second half of this year. Together with Im Siwan, Girl's Generation's Sooyoung, and Kang Tae Oh.
Shin Se Kyung now holds the spot for the first Korean actress to get one million subscribers while Park Seo Joon became the first Korean actor to get the same title last June 1, 2020.
