Ma Dong Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Na Ra and Oh Yeon Seo Confirmed To Star In New Drama “Apgujeong Report"
New Upcoming Drama "Apgujeong Report" Stars Ma Dong Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Na Ra and Oh Yeon Seo
The new drama "Apgujeong Report" releases the names of its lead cast, including well-loved actors Ma Dong Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Na Ra, and Oh Yeon Seo!
On August 12, Showbox which is the distributor of the upcoming film announced the lead cast of its newest production. Fans are excited to know that Ma Dong Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Na Ra and Oh Yeon Seo are confirmed to appear in it. The drama will be directed by director Lim Jin Soon who is known for his work in "Superstar" (2012) and "Ordinary People" (2018).
"Apgujeong Report" tells the story of two locals residing in Apgujeong, Gangnam District of Seoul. One is unemployed and often meddles into other people's business, and the other is an unapproachable successful surgeon. Later on, both of them join forces to become the top surgery business in all of Gangnam.
One of the characters, Dae Guk, is portrayed by actor Ma Dong Seok. Dae Guk has lived in Apgujeong his whole life and fails to earn a living for his own. Instead, he involves himself and meddles in other people's businesses.
Actor Ma Dong Seok is quite known for his roles in "Train to Busan" (2016), "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (2017), "Unstoppable" (2018), and "Start-Up" (2019). He was also recently casted in the approaching film "The Outlaws 2." Fans are also anticipating his portrayal of Gilgamesh, who is a hero whose superpower is his incredible strength in Marvel's 25th movie called "The Eternals" which is set to premiere on 2021. The expected hit film will also include casts with big names such as Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, and Kit Harrington.
Also included in "Apgujeong Report" will be Jung Kyung Ho, who is set to portray the role of Ji Woo. Ji Woo is a successful surgeon who also lived in Apgujeong his whole life. His unmatched skill in surgery is known to all of Apgujeong, and he is immensely praised for it. Jung Kyung Ho is popular for his portrayals in television dramas such as "Prison Playbook" (2017) and "Hospital Playlist" (2020). Jung also left viewers in awe of his performances in the movies "Manhole" (2014), "Amor" (2015), and "Déjà Vu" (2018).
Teaming up with Ma Dong Seok and Jung Kyung Ho is actress Oh Na Ra. She will be taking on the role of Mi Jung, who will join Dae Guk and Ji Woo's surgery business and quest to dominate all of Apgujeong's surgery clinics. Actress Oh Na Ra is famous for her roles in movies "Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies" (2015), "Because I Love You" (2017), and "Misbehavior" (2017). Oh Na Ra is currently in a thriller-mystery drama called "Chip-In".
Actress Oh Yeon Seo completes the lead cast with her portrayal of Kyu Ok, who is a charismatic and mysterious woman who runs a beauty clinic. Actress Oh Yeon Seo is commended for her roles in "Just Friends" (2012), "Run-Off" (2016), and "Cheese in the Trap" (2018).
