Actor Lee Dong Wook Turns Into A Mythical Creature In Upcoming Drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed”

The soon-to-air fantasy drama, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed," shares brand new posters of Lee Dong Wook!

The "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" tells a fascinating story about a nine-tailed fox which is a mythical creature most people call, a Gumiho. According to Korean legend, when a fox lives for a thousand years, it magically transforms into a Gumiho. Carrying the name Lee Yeon, this Gumiho decides to reside in the urban areas of Korea and mimic human form and behavior. He goes on cleansing the souls of people he runs into and creates havoc.

Then, the TV Producer, Nam Ji Ah, enters the picture. She is featuring a show about urban myths and will go on different lengths to showcase an unusual topic that could fascinate her viewers with awe. Nam Ji Ah runs into Lee Yeon whose looks are too good to be true. Lee Yeon is handsome, intellectual, physically fit and carries the qualities that all women want for a boyfriend. However, his cold personality is one to set him back off and will make people, especially Nam Ji Ah, question if he is really part of this world.

Lee Dong Wook will be portraying Yi Yeon, the Gumiho who mimic humans to hide his true identity. He used to hold higher power as a god in Baekdudaegan Mountain Range but decides to live in an urban area. He lives his life by jumping into the world and the underworld working as a judge and punishes monsters and evil-doers who disrupt the day to day living of normal people. Lee Dong Wook excels in all departments. However, he will be caught up in a complicated love story as he meddles in the lives of humans.

In the newly released poster, everything is black and white except Gumiho Yi Yeon's eyes. It illustrates how mysterious and mystical Gumihos are while portraying a noble, calm and collected personality. His left eye shows that he is just any other human being. However, his right eye holds a golden color with hints of red, illustrating his real identity and showing us a peek into his mythical being. Additionally, a text in the poster says "Do you really want to see it? The world I live in." The poster shows such a mysterious aura that fans are anticipating the fantasy drama!

According to the production team of fantasy drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed" says that the drama will tell a fascinating story that will show a whole new world about Gumihos and expand their primary knowledge on such a beautiful legend from Korea.
