Fearless Korean Celebrities Who Took Action After Witnessing a Crime
Just like in any Korean drama, there's a witness and the brave-hearted who fights all the way for justice. Real-life Korean celebrities are not exempted from this 'cause they will stand for what is right when they witness an unlawful act.
Remember the superhero you look up on? Or the courageous protagonist who catches goons and saves the day? Well, not all heroes wear capes indeed. These Korean actors aren't so much different as they took the initiative to report a crime even if it was a dangerous situation.
Let's get to know these brave celebrities and admirable citizens who make the world a better place.
Kim Hyun Joong
On August 31, the singer-actor visited a Japanese restaurant in Jejudo. During that time, Kim Hyun Joong heard a commotion and immediately went to check and found the 47-year old chef was unconscious. Kim right away supported the man's head, unbuttoned his shirt, and massaged his chest. He also advised the people around them to contact the paramedics.
Kim Hyun Joong tried his best to regain the man's consciousness and never left his side until the paramedics arrived.
The restaurant owner made their incident reports and found out that the person who assisted the victim was Kim Hyun Joong. They were all grateful and made their statements through the media for such a heroic act made by the actor.
Kim Min Seok
On July 21, Kim Min Seok was at a cafe when he realized that a man across him was trying to illegally film a woman's body. He immediately apprehended the criminal while waiting for the police to arrive.
When the police arrived and searched on the man's phone, they found out a lot of hidden videos that involved other women as well. The fearless Korean actor saved the woman to be the next victim of the man's illegal sexual video activity.
Park Soo Ah
The singer-actress was in a bar and saw someone trying to drive behind the wheels under the influence of alcohol. She reported to the police immediately and preferred to be annoying rather than meet with an accident.

In 2009, Lee Kwang Soo became a witness and attended a court hearing to support an old couple who was attacked by a drunk customer. The incident happened in a supermarket wherein an elderly couple was lying on the floor, bleeding after an attack was made by the assailant. The actor was present at that moment and helped the couple while he reported it to the police.
Ha Jung Woo
The fearless Korean actor was a victim of a hit and run, and with his own strength, he ran and looked after the car who hit him and reported it to the police. He was lucky that he knew the neighborhood and eventually predicted the driver's route which led to them being caught. The driver behind the wheel was under the influence of alcohol, which made it more liable for the accident.
