After that, he only made progress and became famous in a lot of series. He was even given an award as Best New Actor in "Extraordinary You" on December 30th of last year.

Recently, he had a photoshoot and interview with Cosmopolitan, wherein he talked about a broad range of topics, which includes his singing career, acting career, and his upcoming new Korean dramas.

Rowoon mentioned in his interview about what he feels when somebody mentions to him about his appearance - that he is handsome. He replied that he would normally respond to saying thank you, but deep down, he dislikes it, explaining that it is never enough to be in the industry just because of your looks.

He added that he wanted to make something more than just by being handsome - he wanted to showcase to other people his capabilities as not only by being good looking but also show his fans and audience that he can do more. He also said that he is more attracted to people who are strong on the inside and he wanted to become a good example also.

In his interview, he brought up how he would usually compare himself being behind the television as an actor and performing live in his audience and being a singer, and how he would question himself as to why his fans would continue to support him. He feels both thankful and sorry at the same time, for he feels the sincerity of each of those who idols him. But when it comes to acting, he enjoys acting when he can be himself.

He will also be seen in the upcoming drama "Sunbae, Don't Put on that Lipstick" as Chae Hyun Seung. Since he brought up that he wants to try different genres other than romance, his character in this drama is a very outgoing person and an honest one, which we will see a different Rowoon, and aren't you excited about it?!

Concluding his interview with Cosmopolitan, he told them that being fair and equal to other people regardless of their disposition in life is the most important value that an individual should possess. He added that listening to other peoples' beliefs is more essential rather than fight them off just because his values in life don't align with yours. We get to learn a lot from this young, fine man, and he is only in his mid-twenties. He has spoken about only progressing in life and not remaining stagnant.
